ART & CULTURE
It is the art and culture of a society that defines its identity, be it for the people or the nation. To contribute to the growth and prosperity of art is to contribute to the holistic development of the nation. The artist plays a significant role as a reformer, an educator, a documenter as well as the enhancer of sensibility. Thus, an art student seeks excellence in creative vision as well as perfection in the skills, as the opportunities in the field of creative art have seen a manifold increase in recent years. We at SRP School encourages that artistic skill of children and help them to go through a remarkable journey of self – discovery.
- Perhaps the most important reason to include creative activities in the school curriculum is to induce lifelong learning in the child. A curious and creative mind is always eager to learn and it is this perpetual longing for learning that allows an individual to succeed in life
- Children are able to learn with fun. Taking part in storytelling and drama allows children to learn without the pressure that comes with learning
- Creative activities such as debate and puppetry allow kids to come out of their shells. Kids are free to express their truest selves in such environments
- When children spend time away from the pressure of academics to explore their hobbies, they experience reduced stress and anxiety. This, in turn, empowers them to perform well in academics too
- All individuals, by birth, possess imaginative thinking capabilities and creative activities such as art activate such capabilities by allowing children to explore and discover their potential
- Brainstorming activities such as puzzles develop problem-solving skills in children as they stretch their thinking and push their boundaries
- The average attention span of a lower-class kid is just a few minutes following which they get distracted. Allowing kids to take part in activities of their interest will improve their concentration levels significantly
SUNRISE REYAN PUBLIC SCHOOL empowers its children with manifold creative opportunities in the form of art, drama, music, puppetry, and dance among others. Such activities ensure the overall development of a child's personality.
